Solar Peas Dryer by Rudra Solar Energy is an enclosed, hygienic and energy-efficient solar drying solution designed for drying green peas and other suitable vegetable products. It uses solar-assisted heating and organised airflow to reduce moisture while helping maintain product quality.

Available in configurations from 5 kg/batch to 500 kg/batch, the system can support farmers, FPOs, SHGs, vegetable processors, food-processing MSMEs and commercial dehydration businesses.

Unlike traditional open-sun drying, the enclosed solar drying chamber helps protect peas from dust, insects, birds and sudden rain, while multi-tray loading provides organised product handling and airflow.

Technical Specifications

Actual drying temperature and duration should be selected according to pea variety, incoming moisture, preparation, loading depth, airflow, humidity, solar radiation and required final moisture.
