Solar Beetroot Dryer by Rudra Solar Energy is an enclosed, hygienic and energy-efficient solar drying solution designed for processing beetroot slices, flakes, pieces and other suitable beetroot products. It combines solar-assisted heating with organised airflow to support controlled moisture reduction while protecting the product from direct exposure to dust, insects, birds and sudden rain.

With capacity configurations ranging from 5 kg/batch to 500 kg/batch, the system can be used by farmers, FPOs, SHGs, vegetable processors, food-processing MSMEs and commercial dehydration businesses.

Technical Specifications

The actual drying temperature and duration should be selected according to beetroot variety, initial moisture, slice thickness, loading quantity, airflow, weather conditions and required final moisture rather than using one fixed setting for every batch.
